A model that generously incorporates the technology cultivated in the 40th anniversary model A-200. Achieved ultra-low noise of 127dB (at gain -12dB), the highest ever in Accuphase's stereo power amplifier history, and uses the highest grade materials. The output element uses a "power MOSFET" with excellent frequency characteristics and a reputation for sound quality and reliability, and pure class A operation (60W x 2, 8Ω) with 10 parallel push-pull drives per channel. The powerful power supply section achieves linear power up to a low impedance load of 1Ω. A MOSFET switch without mechanical contacts is used in place of the output relay, resulting in low impedance and a DF (damping factor) of 800, twice that of the A-65.
