The A-75 is a top-of-the-line A-class stereo power amplifier that significantly improves the performance and sound quality of the previous model A-70 by generously incorporating the technology cultivated in the development of the A-250 class A monophonic power amplifier. By adopting an instrumentation amplifier with excellent noise characteristics and realizing the signal path using discrete semiconductors instead of op-amps, the circuit is freed from the constraints of the power supply voltage and achieves gain distribution between the signal input stage and the power amplifier stage, which was previously thought to be difficult, achieving a signal-to-noise ratio of 122dB (at MAX gain), the highest performance in the history of Accuphase A-class stereo power amplifiers. The powerful power supply section is equipped with a large toroidal transformer and two 100,000uF filter capacitors, and the 10-parallel push-pull drive of the A-class operating power amplifier stage, which uses "power MOSFETs" renowned for their excellent sound quality, guarantees linear power up to 1Ω load. The output circuit uses components with excellent characteristics and reliability, such as semiconductor relays and edgewise coils, and by making full use of board layout and pattern technology, we have achieved low impedance, resulting in a damping factor of 1000, which is significantly higher than the A-70.
