Accuphase A-80 Stereo Power Amplifier

This is the highest-end model of pure Class A stereo power amplifier, developed as a stereo version of a monophonic power amplifier following the technology of the Accuphase 50th anniversary model A-300. With the newly developed "large toroidal transformer", "large-capacity smoothing filter capacitor", and "10 parallel MOS-FETs" with excellent current supply capacity, the output is high at 65W/8Ω, 130W/4Ω, 260W/2Ω, and 520W/1Ω, and the A-class operating range is expanded. The ideal gain distribution of the instrumentation amplifier and balanced remote sensing achieve excellent signal-to-noise ratio and damping factor. A constant voltage drive that supplies stable power even when the speaker impedance fluctuates greatly is realized. The large aluminum die-cast heat sink provides efficient heat dissipation and is integrated with the panel chassis to form a sturdy structure. The front panel is equipped with a large, highly sensitive bar graph meter and digital power meter, and combined with the traditional champagne gold finish and handles, it exudes a dignified presence.
