Accuphase C-2850 Class-A Preamplifier High-End Audio

The C-2820 has been redesigned by making full use of the know-how and latest technology accumulated over 40 years since the company was founded. The changes from the C-2820 include the unique AAVA volume control section. As with the C-3850, the V-I conversion amplifier for the most significant bits has been strengthened from 2 parallel to 4 parallel. In addition, a low-noise op-amp is used for the I-V conversion amplifier, and the resistance constant has been reconsidered and a low-noise type resistor is also used. As a result, the signal-to-noise ratio has improved by 1.5dB from 111dB in the C-2820 to 112.5dB. When the phono equalizer unit is installed, the AD gain can be memorized in addition to the conventional load impedance for each position of the input terminals AD1 and AD2, allowing for smooth switching.
