In addition, a butyl rubber "elastic damper" has been developed specifically for the DP-450, which significantly reduces the vibration transmission at the resonant frequency. This "elastic damper" supports the traverse unit, significantly reducing the vibration transmitted to the objective lens/actuator, allowing the information engraved on the disc to be read with high accuracy. The large bridge with a reinforced shielding structure suppresses the rotation and wind noise of the disc, achieving a quiet sound that makes the rotating mechanism invisible. The original "MDS+ type D/A converter" drives 4 ESS Technology "ES9026PRO" circuits in parallel for the DAC, converting the sound into an analog signal that is faithful to the original sound.
