The high-precision SACD/CD drive inherits much of the know-how and technology accumulated from the DP-900 for high-quality disc playback, and has been further refined with a heavyweight, highly rigid, and highly precise mechanism to create the ideal transport that draws out 100% of the potential engraved on SA-CD discs.
The digital processor section is a digital processor compatible with the SA-CD format, and utilizes cutting-edge circuits and advanced digital technology to directly convert DSD signals to analog using original digital processing, making use of the advanced playback method MDSD (Multiple Double Speed DSD).
