Accuphase DP-770 SACD Player

Following the technology of Accuphase's 50th anniversary model DP-1000/DC-1000, this is the highest level of integrated SA-CD/CD player, and the circuits, materials, and parts have been carefully examined to pursue high sound quality reproduction. By combining the ESS ES9028PRO equipped with Hyper Stream II™ Modulator with our own ANCC, we have achieved ultra-high performance approaching that of the DC-1000. Eight DAC circuits are driven in parallel per channel. It operates as an MDSD circuit during DSD and an MDS++ circuit during PCM. Performance has been improved by reviewing the power supply configuration, GND wiring, and optimizing the gain distribution of the filter amplifier. Distortion rate: 0.0004% (20-20kHz, 0.0001% improvement compared to DP-750), S/N ratio 121dB (1dB improvement compared to DP-750). An outer rotor type brushless DC motor is used for the spindle motor. To withstand the centrifugal force during high-speed rotation, a high-precision rotating shaft is used, which is extremely thick and short, reducing vibration caused by core vibration. A metal chassis is used to withstand the centrifugal force from eccentricity, eccentricity, and warped discs, attenuating vibration, reducing the maximum resonance magnification, and expanding the vibration-proofing effect area. Four elastic dampers with different hardness, born from research into materials and structure, have improved vibration-proofing characteristics. A large bridge is used, surrounding the rotating disc with a bridge to block sound propagating through the air. Equipped with a PROGRAM mode that allows you to set the order of songs to be played. Equipped with two independent power transformers for the analog and digital systems, and four custom-made high-quality smoothing filter capacitors of 15,000 μF developed for the DP-770, it is equipped with a powerful power supply unit that transmits high-precision and stable signals.
