E-280 is an integrated stereo amplifier that is equipped with ``AAVA volume control'' and achieves a high signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion rate. The power amplifier section uses a parallel push-pull configuration of high-power transistors, a powerful power supply section, and a low impedance output circuit to achieve high quality power of 120W/ch (4Ω). Furthermore, a current feedback amplifier circuit with excellent high-frequency phase characteristics is used, and the signal path is balanced using an instrumentation amplifier. We achieved a damping factor of 500, which affects speaker behavior, by reviewing the pattern and wiring between the power amplifier and speaker output terminals to lower output impedance. Achieved a contactless protection circuit using a power MOSFET switch. It is now possible to add two new option boards, achieving expandability equivalent to higher-end models. Pursuing the performance and sound quality of separate amplifiers to the utmost, we are opening up a new stage that surpasses its class.
