Accuphase E-650 Integrated Amplifier

The E-650 is the first integrated amplifier to feature the Balanced AAVA volume control found in the top-of-the-line preamp C-3850 model. The Balanced AAVA technology, which is less susceptible to external noise, has significantly improved electrical characteristics. The power amplifier section uses an instrumentation amplifier to achieve balanced transmission, resulting in an integrated amplifier with a balanced preamp and power amplifier section. The output element uses a power MOSFET with 3 parallel push-pull pure class A operation. The powerful power supply and thorough "low impedance" of the output circuit achieve an output of 150W/ch (1Ω, music signal only) and a damping factor of 800. The E-650 is a pure class A integrated amplifier equipped with an ideal circuit, delivering a rich and deep world of music.

■High-rigidity "volume sensor mechanism" machined from an aluminum block with a thick brass shaft. Pure class A operation with 3 parallel push-pull power MOSFETs. Guaranteed linear power of 120W/2Ω, 60W/4Ω, 30W/8Ω per channel.

■Uses a semiconductor (MOSFET) switch for protection. No contact failure, excellent long-term reliability, and further improved sound quality because the music signal does not pass through mechanical contacts.
