Accuphase 50th Anniversary Model. The preamplifier section is equipped with a Balanced AAVA system, and the input amplifier and I/V conversion amplifier are configured in a discrete manner to achieve even lower noise levels, and a perfectly balanced configuration enables ideal signal transmission from the preamplifier input to the power amplifier section. The output elements of the power amplifier section are 6-parallel push-pull drive by power MOS FETs with excellent electrical characteristics and extremely stable thermal operation, and the low impedance of the amplifier output has achieved constant voltage drive of the speakers. At the same time, the powerful power supply section with a highly efficient large toroidal transformer and large-capacity filter capacitor has achieved a generous output of 50W/ch (8Ω) in Class A, and even 300W/ch into an ultra-low impedance load of 1Ω. The amplifier section is equipped with an ultra-low noise instrumentation amplifier, achieving an astonishing S/N ratio. The protection circuit is equipped with MOS-FET switches and edgewise coils with excellent long-term reliability, and the output circuit is thoroughly low impedance, significantly improving the damping factor and achieving ideal drive that maximizes the characteristics of the speakers. Up to two optional boards can be added to the rear panel. The phono equalizer board "AD-50 (standard price including tax: 66,000 yen)" and the USB/coaxial/optical digital compatible DAC board "DAC-60 (standard price including tax: 88,000 yen)" can be installed.
