Esoteric C-02 Control Amplifier

A dual mono design control amplifier that separates the left and right channels from the power supply and thoroughly eliminates mutual interference between channels. Each input system is equipped with a dedicated input buffer amplifier, and common mode noise is eliminated for all inputs by performing low impedance full balanced signal transmission. The volume control method uses "ESOTERIC-QVCS" (Quad Volume Control System). The power supply section is a 5-transformer configuration in which the left and right audio circuits and the control section are each powered by a dedicated power transformer. The inside of the case has a 5-part double deck (2-story) structure, and uses a "3D optimized chassis" construction that houses each circuit block in a dedicated compartment and arranges them three-dimensionally. The exterior is made of thick aluminum material. The 5mm thick steel bottom chassis is supported at 4 points by unique pinpoint feet.
