The DAC device is Asahi Kasei Electronics' 32-bit top-of-the-line model "AK4399," which uses a parallel/differential output using a combination of eight circuits per channel. It also has USB, coaxial, and optical digital inputs, and can be used as a standalone DAC that supports up to 24-bit/192kHz.
