Esoteric K-01X SACD/CD Player

SACD player equipped with high-precision turntable system "VRDS-NEO [VMK-3.5-20S]". The tray section is equipped with a mechanism that closes the shutter when the tray is stored and mechanically locks the shutter itself to the front panel. Equipped with two monaural DACs with differential 8 circuits / 16 outputs. Equipped with Asahi Kasei Electronics' 32-bit DAC "AK4495S" for the DAC chip, Japan Radio's "MUSES 02" op amp, 35-bit D/A processing algorithm, HCLD buffer amplifier, and DSD-compatible USB. The chassis has the VRDS-NEO transport placed in the center, fixed to a 5mm thick steel bottom chassis, and supported at three points by unique pinpoint feet. Vibration of the rotating part is suppressed. The clock circuit is equipped with a VCXO (voltage-controlled crystal oscillator) jointly developed with NDK (Nihon Dempa Kogyo). Center accuracy is ±0.5ppm.

Input terminals: 1x coaxial digital, 1x optical digital, 1x USB 2.0, 1x word sync input (BNC). Outputs: 1x RCA, 1x XLR, 1x coaxial digital. USB supports asynchronous transmission and supports up to DSD 2.8/5.6MHz and PCM 384kHz/32bit. Original driver for PC is available. Supports DoP (DSD over PCM) and ASIO 2.1. When using Mac, it supports DoP and operates with the standard driver. Coaxial/optical supports DSD using DoP method and PCM up to 192kHz/24bit.
