Esoteric K-03X SACD/CD Player Upgraded to K-03Xs equivalent

SACD player with VRDS-NEO [VMK-3.5-10] drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is equipped with VS-DD, enabling smooth spindle drive. Equipped with a dual mono DAC with a parallel/differential circuit configuration of 4 differential circuits/8 outputs, it adopts an innovative 34-bit D/A processing algorithm. The D/A converter device uses Asahi Kasei Electronics' AK4495S. The D/A converter board is a dual mono configuration with left and right channels separated and arranged in the same layout. It adopts a 34-bit D/A processing algorithm that combines multiple 32-bit DAC devices and converts PCM signals to analog signals at a high resolution of 34 bits. The power supply section has a large toroidal power transformer that is independent for each digital circuit and analog circuit, with a total of two in the system.

Input terminals: 1 coaxial digital, 1 optical digital, 1 USB 2.0, 1 word sync input (BNC). Output: 1 RCA, 1 XLR, 1 coaxial digital. USB supports asynchronous transmission and supports up to DSD 2.8/5.6MHz and PCM 384kHz/32bit. Original driver for PC is available. Supports DoP (DSD over PCM) and ASIO 2.1. When using with Mac, it supports DoP and operates with the standard driver. Coaxial/optical supports DSD using DoP method and PCM up to 192kHz/24bit.
