As a successor to the C-900u, this new flagship model completely replaces the amplifier circuit and was developed with the aim of achieving the overwhelming audio quality that Luxman's next-generation components should have in the run up to its 100th anniversary in 2025. This is the first time that Luxman's new amplified feedback engine LIFES has been installed in a control amplifier product. As a fully balanced preamplifier circuit, four units are arranged under completely identical conditions, achieving overwhelming purity and natural, three-dimensional sound field expression. The volume control section uses a system in which Luxman's unique electronically controlled attenuator LECUA is directly connected to the same board as the preamplifier and controlled by a rotary encoder that operates in fine steps of 0.5 dB.
