Strict measures against leakage flux are thoroughly implemented from the transformer design stage. The magnetic flux density is set to 9000 gauss to suppress the amount of leakage flux itself. In addition, the EI transformer core is shielded with a body shield, and the entire transformer is housed in a case for a double shield structure. The mounting method is a mechanical floating mount method, with sufficient consideration given to vibration. In addition, the secondary winding of the transformer is a triple winding that is independent of the three systems of the MM/MC control circuit, and after rectification, a regulator circuit is placed for each left and right channel, eliminating mutual interference between MM/MC amplifiers and channels via the power supply.

In phono equalizers, the inherent coloring of ICs is also an undeniable factor that impairs the purity of sound quality. The E-03 uses all discrete circuits, including accessory circuits such as relay controls, eliminating the inherent coloration of ICs.
