The ultra-low impedance MC cartridge "Eminent" released in 2003 was the first MC cartridge to be commercialized with the design goal of "low source impedance and high output energy!".

The driving force behind this was the successful development of the world's only special core material "SH-μX". Even though we have tried to improve the performance of magnets and introduce various materials, we have been unable to exceed the limit of "the magnetic properties of the core material". In other words, even if a strong magnetic circuit is introduced, it is not possible to achieve results that exceed the capabilities (characteristics) of the "core material" in the alternating magnetic field. This problem has been a problem for many years, but existing magnetic materials cannot overcome this problem. After many years of research, we succeeded in developing Mysonic Lab's special core material "SH-μX". Its characteristics are that high output energy can be obtained by "improving saturation magnetic flux density (Bs)" and that magnetostriction is small and excellent response (transient) can be obtained by "improving initial permeability (μi)". However, this characteristic became the basis for the development of "Eminent," which realized low impedance (low internal output) and high energy output.

Since then, Mysonic has made numerous upgrades aiming for even higher heights, and has reached the commercialization of "Signature Gold". The main difference is the adoption of a “titanium base” and a “boron cantilever”.

By mounting a high-quality magnetic circuit on a "high-strength base", the strength of the aluminum alloy (extra super duralumin) can be drawn out, aiming for even more precise reproducibility. By adopting the "boron cantilever", we aimed to add a sense of speed and responsiveness like the "Ultra Eminent Bc".

In particular, "titanium base" is a material that inevitably raises the material cost and is extremely difficult to cut, but by overcoming this and adding a surface hardening treatment (black / IP processing), the characteristics of the material can be further brought out. I succeeded.
