A 14-inch digital snare with a strainer that can be used in the same way as an acoustic snare and a more advanced sensor.

The PD-14DSX is included with each drum kit in the V-Drums 7 series. When combined with the flagship model sound module V71, it allows accurate detection of the striking point and performance expression with a resolution of over 16,000 levels, allowing you to enjoy the most natural performance among electronic drums. The multi-sensor trigger system and ultra-fast communication reproduce the delicate nuances of the drummer. The position of the hand is also detected, allowing seamless switching between striking techniques such as head shots, rim shots, and cross sticks.

The newly designed pad has a rubber hoop set inside the flange hoop like an acoustic snare, achieving a more natural design. It also has a strainer that switches the snare wire ON/OFF by operating the lever. You can also adjust the tension of the wire by turning the strainer knob. The knob also has a push mechanism, so you can assign it to any function that can be assigned to the sound module.
