SR-009S follows the 6N hybrid cable and genuine leather ear pads adopted in SR-009, and has improved the following items.

■Sound element (sound element) that uses a new fixed electrode: The thinner the fixed electrode is, the less air resistance is and the better the sound transparency. On the other hand, if it is thin, it will lack strength and the electrode itself will vibrate, causing the sound to become muddy.

SR-009S is the culmination of current technology and has further evolved the electrode established in SR-009. After-etching process smooths the edges of the holes, reducing air resistance and improving sound transparency. In addition, by applying gold plating treatment, which has a high specific gravity, we were able to further reduce the vibration of the electrode. In addition, the sense of clarity has been further improved by reducing the electrical resistance of the electrode itself.

■A strong machined aluminum casing allows the sounding body to be firmly fixed, contributing to improved sound clarity. Furthermore, the depth of the casing has been reduced to the absolute minimum to reduce weight. Also, the flow of sound (air) from the sounding body has become smoother.

■The "guard mesh" that protects the sounding body has a dome-like roundness to increase its strength and further improve sound resolution by reducing the effects of resonance and reflection.
